The late 2011 MacBook Pro refresh is the laptop line's second update this year, but a far smaller revision than the one we got in February. While the early 2011 MacBook Pro refresh of the 13-inch, 15-inch and 17-inch laptops brought us new Sandy Bridge second-generation Core i-series processors and a Thunderbolt port, the late 2011 update is more incremental, with only minor upgrades to the processing speed and bigger hard drives. The entry-level $1,199 13-inch MacBook Pro that we reviewed was built around a Second-Generation 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 processor (also known as Sandy Bridge), a 320GB hard drive, and a 13.3-inch screen. LG has announced that it has developed the world's biggest OLED TV Panel – with a whopping 55 inch offering described as 'a significant step forward' for the screen technology. Organic Light Emitting Diodes bring several benefits over more traditional screen technology (thinner, lighter, more environmentally friendly) and have long been hailed as the future of out televisions. Korean-based LG is calling its upcoming a 55-inch wide OLED TV screen the “World’s Largest”, and at only 5 mm-thick it may well be one of the thinnest as well. The panel boasts a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and has a color gamut that is “wider” than that produced by LCD panels, Stan Schroeder of Mashable is reporting. The Samsung NX200 is the company's fifth NX camera but only the third body design, and represents a significant step up for the series. It's built around a completely new 20.3MP APS-C CMOS sensor and wrapped in the series' first all-metal body. The result is a handsome camera of similar size to Sony's NEX models but one that takes a rather different approach. Rather than offering a super-simplified interface for users upgrading from point-and-shoots, then a very different approach for more experienced photographers wanting to use the PASM modes, Samsung's NX200 has a single, consistent interface across all modes. LG Prada 3.0 (also known as K2 Prada, LG P940) is the latest smartphone launched by the company LG. LG Prada 3.0 is the third device created with the collaboration between LG and Prada, and its aim is to introduce a taste of Android with design to users. The LG Prada 3.0 features a 4.3 inch WVGA screen, a dual-core (dual core) at 1 GHz, while the back features an 8 megapixel camera. All this comes in a very thin body, 0.33 inches. The Sony Alpha A65 features a 24.3 megapixel APS-C sized sensor that is shared with the Sony Alpha A77 and Sony NEX-7. Full HD video with continuous auto focus is also available. 10fps shooting is possible at the full 24.3 megapixel resolution with continuous auto focus, while 12fps shooting is possible with the A77. The A65 sits under the top of the Alpha SLT range A77, with the A65 above the A55, and the recently new A35 the entry level model. The Alpha A65, unlike its more expensive A77 brother, doesn't feature a proper magnesium-alloy body, it is instead made of polycarbonate. Thankfully the A65 doesn't feel too plasticky and has adopted much of the feel of a proper prosumer camera but without all the expense. The Samsung RF511 is a mid-range laptop which offers solid yet unspectacular performance, at a less than inspiring price. With so many great laptop bargains on the market this year boasting new Intel chips, we reckon that Samsung has missed the mark with this middle-of-the-road outing. The RF511 comes with a 2.3GHz Core i5 Sandybridge processor, 6Gb of RAM, a 650Gb hard disk, an Nvidia GeForce GT540M graphics chipset and a 15 inch screen running at 1366 by 768.
